About Lisa

Coaching Philosophy

Lisa is a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and UESCA-Certified Running Coach based in New Jersey. She believes that an effective fitness routine should enhance your life — helping you feel stronger, more confident, and more capable every day.

With a focus on form, safety, and efficiency, Lisa’s coaching philosophy centers on training smarter, not harder. She designs personalized programs that reflect each client’s unique body, goals, and lifestyle. Every plan takes into account movement patterns, injury history, and daily demands to ensure progress that is both safe and sustainable.

Training Expertise

Lisa is highly skilled in the proper use of barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance bands, and other functional training equipment. She also holds specialization certifications in Self-Myofascial Release Technique and Menopause Health & Fitness.

These advanced credentials allow her to design safe, effective, and pain-free programs that provide variety and deliver long-term results.

Movement as Medicine

Believing that movement is medicine, Lisa is passionate about helping clients overcome the effects of sedentary lifestyles and move in ways that support overall health and well-being.

Her experience with diverse training methods enables her to create programs that are functional, attainable, and tailored to each client’s goals and needs.

Personalized and Inclusive Approach

Lisa meets every client where they are — never boxing anyone into a specific training style or approach that doesn’t serve them. She has worked successfully with individuals managing chronic illnesses and joint issues, always remaining within her professional scope of practice.

Professional Values

Known for her passion, attention to detail, and integrity, Lisa continues to learn from her clients every day. Their experiences inspire her to stay open-minded, evolve her methods, and provide the most effective and supportive coaching possible.

I help my clients find and develop their strength in many forms, but some of my favorite things to work on with clients are:

Strengthening Muscle Imbalances

Different parts of our bodies can be prone to weakness which can sometimes lead to pain. I’ll work with you to address weak areas by strengthening under- and over-used muscle groups, teaching you body awareness and using proper form so that you can train without pain and make your fitness routine more efficient.

Finding Fitness Passions

There are many ways to maintain and improve our physical health and well-being, which means you shouldn’t have to follow a cookie-cutter exercise routine, If you haven’t already found fitness that you’re passionate about, I can help you explore activities to find movement you enjoy.

Achieving Goals

I am dedicated to paving the way for my clients to reach their goals. My happy moment is when a client accomplishes a feat they’ve been pushing themselves toward. No matter what your goal is—to run a marathon, increase your muscle mass, lose weight, or just to get moving—I can help you make it happen with a customized plan, just for you.

After a series of injuries to our knees, feet & calves we needed a systematic approach to getting back into running that compliments our strength training practice. That’s when we decided it’s time to stop trying to figure it out by ourselves and invest in a coach and there is no one better than Lisa. She started us off small and gradually built us up to running our first 5k, 10k, half marathon, marathon & eventually Ultra Marathon. Her program wasn’t just effective but it was actually fun and she listened to how we were feeling to make adjustments as needed. If you are in need of an intelligent approach to improve your running ability Lisa is the coach for you! If it weren’t for Lisa we would have never known how to get started to cross the finish line.
